Once you have created a gap pattern, you can apply this directly onto the Scheduler to help you fill your demand. If you need to find out how to create a gap pattern, click here.
On the scheduler, go to tools and apply gap pattern.
This will open up a modal which will allow you to select the location, pattern and date range. If you have a 1 week gap pattern, it will apply the same pattern each week. If you have created a multi-week pattern, it will keep repeating that pattern within the given date range.
Once you have completed this, select Apply and you’ll see your Gap pattern will be added onto the Scheduler for each week you have selected.
At this point, you can either assign the shifts manually by hovering over the shift and selecting an available employee, send the gap shifts to your employees to request them, or auto schedule the shifts if your company uses this feature.
You can find out about how to assign the shifts in this article.
