Rotageek allows Payroll Codes to be added to Timesheets to help you process Payroll more quickly.

If your company is using Rotageek's Pay Rules Engine, please view this article to see how payroll codes are automatically added onto the system for you, as you will not be able to manually edit payroll codes on the timesheet entries.

You can assign specific payroll codes to individual timesheet entries, or you can assign them to specific hours within that entry.

All entries will pull through whatever payroll code was added onto the Scheduler. If no payroll code was added, it will default to basic.

If you haven't edited it on the Scheduler, you can manually adjust any payroll code on each timesheet entry. To do this, open the entry and find the payroll code field.

Here you can select the payroll codes you need and set how many hours they apply to. If I want to split the shift into multiple different payroll codes, I can select +add payroll code and have as many different codes as I need.

The total duration must equal the total number of hours worked in that entry and it will flag and not allow you to approve until they match.

These codes will then appear in the file that is sent over to your Payroll department for them to check and show on the overview of the entry once saved and/or approved.
