If you have access to the Admin Console, you can look to add Request Rules on Rotageek. These can be configured in two ways.
We allow you as a company to state any blocked days where leave can't be taken and also a limit to the maximum amount of people off at a time.
Blocked days:
If you have any days in your company where leave cannot be taken, these can be configured for you by Rotageek.
You can either soft or hard block these rules.
Soft block allows the employee to request the leave but they would get a notification saying it is during a blocked period. It is then up to the manager to approve or reject the leave.
Hard block would not allow them to request the leave at all, letting them know it is a blocked period.
Max people off:
You can select the percentage of a certain position to be allowed off at any one time.
In the above example, within two specified locations on the account, the position of Assistant can only have 10% off at any one time.
You can either soft or hard block this rules.
Soft block allows the employee to request the leave but they would get a notification saying there is already the maximum amount of employees off. It is then up to the manager to approve or reject the leave.
Hard block would not allow them to request the leave at all, letting them know too many people are off during that requested period.
Rotageek can configure this to any location, position(s) and percentage for you.
