For each week on the Scheduler, you're able to view a demand graph that will show you how many people you have scheduled, per day, per task.
Click the arrowhead next to the word demand graph on the Scheduler and this will open up the demand graph for you.
Using the Demand Graph:
The graph will show for each day of the week, to amend this simply click the day above the graph. You are able to view each day per 15 minute increments.
It counts the number of employees working, per task on the system. It reflects the current schedule and includes draft and approved shifts. It also auto-refreshes so you can see it in real-time. You can scroll the graph to left and right by clicking-and-dragging, to see any time you need.
Reviewing Tasks on the Demand Graph:
Each task on the demand graph is stacked ontop of eachother. This allows you to easily see the split between tasks. If you hover over a time you'd like to look at, it gives a breakdown of the tasks.
You can use the filters down the left-hand side to specify just one or a few tasks at a time.
This will 'remove' the other tasks from the demand graph but not remove them from the schedule.
Targets on the Demand Graph:
If your company has Staffing Levels set up, then there's a further thing you can do with this graph.
As well as displaying a summary of the current schedule with task breakdown, it can also display the 'Target' number of those same people, either based on the inputs on the staffing levels. You can find out more about staffing levels by watching this video.
If demand with the purple tick-box (to the left-hand-side of the graph) is ticked, you'll now see a purple line indicating the target.
This line can also be Filtered by Task - the purple line will reflect the number of people total required just for the ticked Task(s).
If you're using Staffing Levels, and you've created more than one template, then the dropdown box to the left of the graph will allow you to pick which template of demand to apply to this particular week. It will always default to the base template.
Minimum and Maximum are also driven off the Staffing Level template, and if ticked appear as additional lines on the graph if you have added these.
