Staffing Levels allows you to add your demand for your location. If you want to know more about what type of inputs may be found on this feature, click here.

To add demand, simply click at the start time you want to create demand from. For target and minimum input, this will add a 15 minute increment line on the page.

To extend this, you can either drag it until the time you want to, or you can click it and edit the end time.

You can also update the amount of people needed by clicking on it and amending the number.

You may need to add different segments to the demand of your store.

For example, if I know I need 1 person On Shift from 9am until 2pm and then the demand goes up, I could put a second segment from 2pm until 6pm for 2 people.

Build this for each of your tasks that need demand. Remember, you can also add in minimum and maximum demand at this point.

Once you have updated all your inputs, you have completed one day.

You can either manually update your other days with unique demand, or you can use the day you completed as a template.

To do this, select ‘Copy to other days’ and select which days you want to copy this to.

Once you hit save, the days selected will populate with the demand you have copied. You can then use this as a base and change times or amount.

Once you have completed the week, that is your Base Template complete.

Multiple Templates:

Rotageek allows you to create multiple templates if needed for when your demand changes. These could be templates such as ‘Peak Period 1’. To do this, you can use your base template to copy over the demand.

Click add template and choose a name that relates to the template you want to build.

Once you have created this, you will see ‘Copy from template’ which allows you to choose any template you have previously created and allows you to copy the demand from all, or selected days.

Once you have completed this, you will see the demand populated on the new template and you can make any changes at this point.

Once you've made changes, you can choose which template is used on the Scheduler by viewing our article, here.
