The Time & Attendance (T&A) dashboard provides managers and authorised users with a clear, real-time view of who is working, where they are scheduled to work, and their clock-in/clock-out status across locations.
It is designed to:
Centralise visibility of attendance and wellbeing
Highlight late or missing clock-ins
Identify individuals working alone
Support audit and safety processes through a clear, filterable view
Note: The dashboard is a visibility tool and is not a certified fire register or legal compliance system. Your organisation’s safety and compliance procedures continue to apply.
Access and permissions
Access to the T&A dashboard is controlled through permission templates and user-level permissions:
Administrators grant access to specific positions or users from the People page or via permission templates. If you are a group admin and want this feature turned on for your organisation, please contact your Rotageek Customer Success Manager
Users can only see data for locations where they have write access (their primary location plus any locations they administer).
Opening the dashboard
Once you have the permission access granted:
The dashboard opens on today’s date, your primary location selected by default, and showing all scheduled employees.
What the dashboard displays
For the selected date and locations, each row shows:
Employee name
Working location
Scheduled start and end times
Clock-in and clock-out times (clock-out remains blank while the employee is currently clocked in)
This provides a clear comparison of planned versus actual attendance.
Refining your view
You can focus the dashboard on the information you need:
Filter by location: use the location filter to select one or multiple locations.
Filter by employee: scheduled, active, or working alone employees.
Search by employee: use the search box to find a specific person.
Sort by column: click any column header (for example, location, scheduled start, or clock-in time) to sort; click again to reverse the order.
All views respect your write-access permissions, so you only see locations you are authorised to manage.
