How to navigate the available shifts section on the Rotageek mobile app.

Available shifts are shifts that are unassigned to an employee that you can request to work.

When they become available, you will get a push notification to your mobile app and/or an email to say they are available to request.

You will see on the mobile app if you have any available shifts to review on the homepage.

Once you open this, you will see what shifts are available to work. You can review them and select which ones you want to request for. This is a request and it doesn't mean you will automatically be given the shift.

Shifts will only show if you're able to work them. You need to have the correct skill for the shift and also be available for all (or part) of the shift. Some companies allow you to request part of the shift if you're already working that day.

To request, simply click on the shift you want and select 'request to work'.

Once you have done this, it will show you have requested to work and your manager will decide if they will put you on the shift. If they do, you'll receive a new push notification/email letting you know you have a new shift.

If your company allows partial available shifts, it will show you when you are currently working and allow you to select a partial request.

Once requested, it will show how you have requested a partial available shift.

All requests will go to the manager for approval and you will receive a push notification or email if you are selected for the shift.
