Once you have designed your schedule, click the 'Tools' button and select 'Run EWTD analysis'.

RotaGeek will then run an hours and rest analysis of your schedule against the limits of the European Working Time Directive (EWTD).

A summary of this analysis is shown next to the staff name. A European Flag is shown with either a tick (indicating that your schedule meets the EWTD limits) or a cross (indicating that there is a problem with compliance). Shifts that are non compliant will appear in red.

For more details, click the flag icon associated with a particular staff member to view the detailed compliance report for that employee.

Once you have either edited your rota to be compliant, or finished anaylsing the results, return to 'Tools' and click 'Clear validation warnings for this week'.
